Leeds United are reportedly set to renew their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore this summer.

The Elland Road club were linked with a winter move for the Wolves winger last month but nothing materialised.

But Eurosport have reported that Leeds are ‘likely’ to make an offer for the Spain international who, according to Sport, is valued at £35 million by the Molineux club.

That would make him the Whites’ most expensive player of all time if a deal were to materialise.

But Eurosport added that Leeds might have a bigger budget in the summer after NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers increased their stake in the club to 35 percent last month.

He’s such an exciting player but this is a big gamble by Victor Orta if he greenlights the move.

That’s because despite having an abundance of speed and physical strength, Traore, labelled a ‘big, big talent‘ by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, is a tad inconsistent.

This season, he has managed just the one goal and assist in 24 games for Wolves across all competitions.

He’s hardly ripping up the Premier League and therefore Leeds should exercise a bit of caution.
