According to Leeds Live, Leeds United are leading the race for Arsenal talent Sam Greenwood – but face a battle for his signature.
It’s claimed that Leeds are frontrunners to lure Greenwood away from the Emirates Stadium in what could be a real coup.
However, Leeds’ bitter rivals Manchester United are interested too, whilst AC Milan want to take Greenwood to Italy.
Leeds are at the front of the queue, and a deal to sign Greenwood could rise to as high as £3million, even if the initial fee is a six-figure sum.
Greenwood, 18, was in the youth ranks of hometown club Sunderland, but left for his big move to Arsenal in 2018.
The striker has hit 15 goals and six assists in 39 games for Arsenal’s Under-18’s, as well as one goal in seven Under-23 appearaces.

On the international stage, Greenwood racked up 12 goals in 14 caps for England Under-17’s, emerging as one of the country’s top young strikers.
Greenwood can also play out wide or behind a striker, and whilst he was tipped for a bright future at Arsenal, he will seemingly join fellow English attacking talent Joe Gelhardt as the youth recruitment at Leeds continues.
