Leeds United are reportedly sweating over Kemar Roofe’s fitness.
The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that Leeds United will send Kemar Roofe for a scan on Monday to determine the extent of his knee injury.
Roofe came through 90 minutes in Leeds’ midweek win over Swansea City.
But there is some concern for the striker’s fitness after he was seen wearing a leg brace in a photo with a Whites fan that surfaced on Twitter on Saturday.
And according to The Yorkshire Evening Post, United will send the 25-year-old hitman for further tests tomorrow.
Patrick Bamford has only managed a handful of games since August in what’s been an injury-hit first season for the former Middlesbrough striker.
If Roofe is out then it puts a hell of a lot of pressure on the £7 million summer signing [Daily Mail] to score the goals which keeps Leeds’ promotion bid in tact.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are third in the Championship, two points behind Norwich City who have played a game more than them.
Roofe, who joined Leeds for £3 million from Oxford United in 2016 [Yorkshire Evening Post], has netted 14 times in 26 Championship outings this season.
