Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga is being targeted by four clubs in Serie A champions AC Milan – as well as Premier League trio Leeds United, Newcastle United and Everton.
Tanganga, 23, is fully expected to leave Spurs before the end of the window, having fallen down the pecking order. He was not even in the squad against Southampton – and has remained an unused substitute in their next two games.
Cristian Romero remains first choice, while Davinson Sanchez is an immediate replacement for the Argentina star. Clement Lenglet has also come in, convincing Joe Rodon to leave the club on loan and join Ligue 1 side Rennes.
Milan have been strongly linked with Tanganga for much of the summer window. Fabio Paratici is said to be open to a loan-to-buy deal, with a permanent clause of £21million. Now, three Premier League clubs want him, too.

Leeds, Everton and Newcastle are all said to be in the mix for the England Under-21 international. Indeed, it might be that the Premier League clubs have the upper hand – as they are willing to include a permanent clause in the deal.
Tottenham defender Tanganga targeted by Leeds and Newcastle
Which club needs him most? Milan do need a defender after losing Alessio Romagnoli and have been after defensive additions throughout the summer window. Tanganga gives them cover on the right, and an option in the middle.
Leeds seem well-stocked at centre-back, and right-back. Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper – while at right-back, they have signed Rasmus Kristensen to cover the injured Luke Ayling. Cody Drameh is a talent.
But Drameh could go and Kristensen has made a tricky start to life in English football. Newcastle are in a similar boat, plenty of options, but Tanganga does slightly improve them. Everton need him the most, though.
The Toffees need a bit of fight in defence. They have added Conor Coady and James Tarkowski, but they need a better option at right-back to take the heat off of youngster Nathan Patterson. ‘Phenomenal’ Tanganga gives them that.
