Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly announce Jack Clarke’s arrival from Leeds United today.

The Daily Star has reported that Leeds United winger Jack Clarke passed a medical with Tottenham Hotspur last night.

Clarke is heavily linked with an £8.5 million move to Spurs and, according to The Daily Star, the 18-year-old’s departure from Leeds took a step closer to materialising last night after passing a physical examination.

The report adds that Tottenham – who haven’t signed a player since January of 2018 – could announce the transfer today.

There have been conflicting reports about whether United will get their academy product back on loan or not, with some speculation suggesting that the teenage winger will return immediately.

The way things are lining up, Clarke will be staying in North London this season after Sky Sports News claimed on Thursday that Leeds were in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Jack Harrison again.

The Manchester City winger, who spent last season on loan in West Yorkshire, plays in the same position as Clarke and if the Whites sign him then it would appear as if there’s little need to get the youngster back on loan.

Clarke started only four Championship games in what looks to be his first and last season in Leeds’ senior side last term.

Leeds United's Jack Clarke battles with Nottingham Forest's Ben Osborn at Elland Road on October 27, 2018 in Leeds, England.
