Leeds United have reportedly joined the race for Tottenham Hotspur-linked Luca Murphy.

Leeds United are among the many English clubs interested in reported Tottenham Hotspur target Luca Murphy, according to Team Talk.
The 17-year-old has left non-league side Hartlepool United by mutual consent and there is already a flurry of interest in signing the promising centre-back.
Team Talk has reported that Leeds are one of six Championship or League One sides chasing the teenage gem.
The report adds that Tottenham, along with a host of Premier League sides, have scouted Murphy in recent months.
The Hartlepool Mail reported back in December that Fulham and West Ham United were keen, though a move never materialised.
In January, Murphy retweeted a post from a journalist claiming that he had agreed to join the Cottagers.
With the competition so fierce, it doesn’t seem like Leeds have a great chance of signing the teenager as far as the odds being in their favour goes, especially with clubs of Spurs’ calibre – and Manchester United’s – seemingly in the race.
Working under a manager like Mauricio Pochettino would appeal to any youth player in world football, by virtue of his reputation for developing young talent.
