The Yorkshire Evening Post claim Leeds hope to make a third signing next week, and that Victor Orta was looking at a deal for Marc Roca in January. Leeds have completed deals for Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen.

Aaronson was the first to arrive. The 21-year-old United States international reuniting with Jesse Marsch after initial January interest, in which Leeds saw two bids rejected. He is now at Leeds, for a hefty £25million (Athletic).

Denmark international Kristensen has followed him, for a further £10million – again, reuniting with Marsch. Now, Orta is planning a third deal and hopes to have it done by the end of play next week, according to the YEP.

The YEP’s Graham Smyth also claims that Orta was looking at a deal to sign Roca in January. Phil Hay initially broke the news on The Athletic’s website that Leeds are considering a £10million move for the Bayern Munich midfielder.

Leeds hope to make third signing next week: Roca interest

It could be Roca, that arrives at Elland Road next week. Leeds were looking at Aaronson in January and got a deal done very quickly after survival at Brentford. It could be a similar story for 25-year-old Roca.

The player is said to be keen on a move away from Bayern after just 24 appearances in two seasons. The Athletic say a fee of £10million is enough for the Spaniard, a bargain for a player that has not reached his full potential.

Could Leeds make their third signing – perhaps in Roca – next week? Well, Orta is clearly looking at something of an overhaul at Elland Road in order to give Leeds every chance of avoiding relegation next term. So, perhaps.
