According to Press Association Sport, Leeds United are in talks to sign Norwich City playmaker Todd Cantwell.
It’s claimed that the two clubs are in negotiations over a deal, and the move would cost around £15million for Leeds to pull off.
No deal has been struck yet, and Cantwell would still have to agree personal terms with the Whites before a move becomes anywhere near close.
One thing to note is that Cantwell wasn’t in the Norwich squad to face Bournemouth today, sparking rumours of an exit.
Cantwell may well have an un-reported injury, but the news of Leeds’ talks emerging on the day that he was left out of the squad is very interesting.
The 22-year-old impressed in the Premier League last season, registering six goals and two assists despite Norwich’s relegation.

His versatility will be hugely appealing to Marcelo Bielsa, as he can play as a number 10 or on either flank, offering real flexibility as Pablo Hernandez’s heir.
Cantwell has also played in an energetic, high-pressing system at Norwich, meaning Leeds may see him as a perfect fit, and will hope to make progress with talks this week.
