According to Noticias ao Minuto in Portugal, Leeds United are interested in Sporting boss Ruben Amorim as a potential successor to Marcelo Bielsa.
It’s claimed that the Whites are looking towards Amorim if Bielsa doesn’t renew his contract at the end of the season.
Leeds aren’t alone in admiring Amorim though, as Leicester City are also believed to be interested in the Portuguese boss.
The Foxes seemingly fear that Rodgers could move on this summer, and are looking at Amorim just in case he does go.
Amorim, 36, has Sporting sitting top of the Portuguese top flight, nine points clear of Braga having dropped just eight points this season.
Sporting haven’t lost a single league game this season, and Amorim’s reputation is growing by the week having immediately mounted a shock title challenge.

Formerly of Casa Pia and Braga, Amorim is an exciting young manager who has found real success with a 5-2-3 or 3-4-3 system at Sporting.
With goals flowing and a strong defensive setup, Amorim is understandably attracting major interest – and we could see him at Leeds if Bielsa doesn’t renew his deal for next season.
