According to SampNews24, Leeds have an offer ready for Omar Colley, after scouts were left impressed by his performances for the Serie A side.
The Italian news outlet claims that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been left convinced by the 25-cap Gambia international.
SampNews24 add that Sampdoria are asking for €12 million – €13 million (£10.4 million – £11.3 million) to let their best centre-back go.
It is mentioned that Leeds should have no problem paying this sum.
SampNews24 also state that other Premier League sides are watching the 28-year-old.
One of those could well be Newcastle, who were in talks with Colley back in January, only for him to turn them down according to La Voce Tigullio.

In our view, Leeds should only complete this deal if the fee remains in the region of £10.4 million – £11.3 million.
If other Premier League clubs make the fee rise due to their interest, the Yorkshire-based outfit should walk away.
Why?

Well, the centre-back department isn’t the weakest area in Bielsa’s squad right now.
The Argentine can call upon Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk, while Kalvin Phillips and Luke Ayling can also play there.
This money would be much better spent on a new central midfielder, or a new left-back from our point of view.
