Leeds United reportedly want to take Ben White to the Championship from Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.

Ben White knows what it takes to succeed out on loan.
The 21-year-old Brighton and Hove Albion defender spent the 2017/18 campaign at Newport County, making 52 appearances in all competitions for the League Two outfit. And he could hardly have made a better impression during his time in Wales.
“I’d go so far as to say he’s probably the best loan signing the club has ever made,” Newport manager Michael Flynn told the South Wales Argus in March 2018 after White was named the club’s Player of the Year by a landslide.
“He’s been tremendous for somebody as young as him. He’s never been out on loan before and the way he’s fitted in and taken everything in his stride has been brilliant.”
So White has certainly set the bar high as he prepares for a potential temporary switch to Leeds United. According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are interested in signing the highly-rated defender who first emerged on their radar last summer.

With Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk forming one of the Premier League’s most consistent partnerships at centre-back, White probably has to leave The Amex again in search of first-team football and he could get that at Elland Road.
And if the Brighton academy graduate can replicate his success at Newport at a much higher level, expect more plaudits to come his way.
