Lanus are expecting Leeds United to bid for their star winger Pedro De La Vega, according to ole.com.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa appears to have his eyes on signing a new attacker, as he looks to strengthen his attack.

And the latest reports in South America suggest Leeds are now tracking De La Vega.

Leeds are always linked with a lot of Argentinian players, due to Marcelo Bielsa being in charge, but these claims suggest that there is ‘concrete interest’ from the Whites in the 19-year-old.

De La Vega has caught the eye recently, as he scored four goals in 17 matches in Argentina’s top flight last term, despite still being a teenager.

The signs are that he could be a star of tomorrow, and Leeds appear to be looking to snap him up early.

Goal have suggested that in Argentina he is touted as being the next Angel Di Maria, and if he turns out to be even half as good as the PSG wide-man then he could be a great addition to Leeds’ squad.

In terms of a price, it is claimed by Ole that Leeds would have to pay around £7.5m to sign him.
