The Guardian suggest that Leeds United could yet make a bid to rival AC Milan for Fikayo Tomori.
Leeds were thought to have missed on Tomori, when The Sun claimed that Chelsea were going to keep him around.
However, Frank Lampard stated at the weekend that his side were open to letting him leave on loan.
That news sparked Milan into action, with the Italian side plotting a bid.
And the Guardian suggests that Leeds may well make a rival offer for the 23-year-old, who they have been strongly linked with throughout January.
It should be noted that the Athletic claims that Leeds are not thought to be planning on making any ‘significant’ additions in January.
But with a player of Tomori’s quality seemingly available their stance may just change, if the latest reports are anything to go by.
Tomori could surely help Leeds if he was to arrive, as the England international would help to bolster their defensive options for the remainder of the campaign.
But whether a move to Elland Road would be more tempting than a switch to the current Serie A leaders remains to be seen.
