According to La Nazione, Fiorentina may now look to swap Leeds United target Christian Kouame for La Spezia talent M’Bala Nzola.
Earlier this week, La Nazione reported that Leeds want to sign attacker Kouame as well as Fiorentina teammate Erick Pulgar.
Marcelo Bielsa is thought to have recommended the pair, and Leeds are plotting a deal to sign them in this month’s transfer window.
However, those plans could be ruined as Fiorentina may be looking to swap Kouame to sign Nzola from Serie A rivals La Spezia.
Nzola, 24, has been bouncing around Italian football for years now, but has really starred in Serie A this season with seven goals in 10 games.
The French attacker finds himself a man in demand, and Fiorentina may be willing to give up Kouame to win the race for his signature.

This report notes that Leeds’ interest ‘appears to be concrete’, whilst Torino are also looking to give Kouame a January move.
Nzola could now be key to Leeds’ hopes of signing Kouame, and they may have to hope that the Ivorian ace fancies a move to the Premier League over joining another Italian side.
