However, Skubala’s experience in managing the England Futsal team could make him a bit of a hidden gem as a manager.
Futsal and Football are very similar sports, and we’ve seen many a top player make the transition between the two in the past – so why can’t a manager?
Skubala’s appointment may well be met with mixed reactions from the Leeds United fanbase. Some are bound to question whether he has the necessary experience to take charge of a team that is fighting for its survival in the Premier League.
However, Skubala is clearly highly regarded by the club’s higher-ups and is seen as a promising young manager with a bright future in the game.
