Leeds United are reportedly hoping to ensure that Marcelo Bielsa stays at Elland Road for another year.

According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are confident that they can meet the demands that are likely to ensure that Marcelo Bielsa stays at Elland Road for a second season.
Much of the disappointment over the Whites’ play-off exit was quickly put to one side as the fans began to urge the club to make sure that Bielsa remains at the helm next season. Unsurprisingly, plenty of Leeds supporters believe that their chances of clearing the hurdle that agonisingly proved to be just a little too big this time around will improve significantly if Bielsa stays.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Leeds have the option to extend the Argentinian’s deal by 12 months, but Bielsa could also walk away if he decided that he did not want to continue.
However, the Yorkshire Evening Post has suggested that sources close to Bielsa are expecting him to stay and the club are optimistic that they can meet his demands with talks set to continue.

It is difficult to argue with those supporters who believe that Leeds cannot complete a more important piece of business than keeping Bielsa at the club this summer.
Leeds may have missed out on promotion this season. But Bielsa has got the club moving in the right direction at a rapid rate, and the large majority of the fans are desperate to enjoy the ride for as long as possible.
Judging by these reports, there is set to be at least one more chapter written.
