Lazio are willing to sell Jordan Lukaku for £5 million this summer with the Leeds United-linked left-back keen on a move to the Premier League, according to The Mail.
It seems there’s no limit to Andrea Radrizzani’s ambition. However, even the lure of Premier League football under the legendary Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t work every time.
Radrizzani was perhaps setting his sights a little too high when he tried to sign superstar strikers Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Leeds.
Meanwhile, his brazen approach for Lazio stars Luis Alberto, Ciro Immobile, Luiz Felipe and Sergej “better than Pogba” Milinkovic-Savic looked destined to fail from minute one.
Il Messaggero claims Radrizzano approached Lazio about a Barcelona-linked defender, two much-vaunted playmakers and Serie A’s top scorer – plus a left-back who has endured a miserable time with injuries of late.

In truth, Lukaku is perhaps the only one of the Lazio quintet who could realistically be plying his trade at Elland Road by the time the window slams shut in October.
The Mail reports the Belgium international, younger brother of Romelu and cousin of Celtic’s Boli Bolingoli, has his heart set on proving himself in England a year after a move to Newcastle United fell through.
What’s more, at £5 million Lukaku wouldn’t break the bank for Leeds, who have already paid big sums for Helder Costa, Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch.
Left-back has been a problem position for Leeds since Bielsa took over in 2018, with Barry Douglas struggling for fitness and form.
