TalkSPORT presenter Hugh Woozencroft claims Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch kicked a Leeds scarf thrown into the club’s home dugout on Thursday night. Leeds were humilated by Aston Villa, losing 3-0 at home.
Coming into the match, Marsch was ticking all the boxes. Despite defeat away at Leicester City, there were plenty of positive signs that the American boss had quickly instilled his ideas – and improved the club’s leaky defence.
But on Thursday night, Leeds were worryingly poor against Steven Gerrard’s in-form Villa. Goals from Philippe Coutinho, Matty Cash and Calum Chambers saw Leeds suffer a sixth straight Premier League loss.
Marsch, like he was against Leicester, was animated on the sidelines. Taking over from Marcelo Bielsa, the ex-Leipzig boss is under enormous pressure – having now lost his first two games. His latest actions are a worry.
According to TalkSPORT presenter Woozencroft who was at Elland Road to take in the game in Yorkshire, a Leeds scarf was thrown into Marsch’s dugout and the former Salzburg gaffer took his anger out – by kicking it.

There are still 30 points to play for between now and the end of the season for Leeds, and they still remain in 16th place. But if Leeds fans were offered the chance to end the season now – they would bite your hand off.
But with Burnley, Everton and others boasting games in hand – Leeds have got to get points on the board as soon as possible. A clash against Norwich on Sunday is almost like a Cup final, for the Elland Road side – and Marsch.
