Leeds United, West Ham and West Bromwich Albion are just three of the Premier League teams keen to sign Matthew Sorinola from MK Dons, as reported by TEAMtalk.
It’s almost six years since Tottenham Hotspur invested £5 million in an exciting teenage talent who outgrew the League One pond in double-quick time.
And while Sorinola has yet to dominate the division like a young Dele Alli, his impressive performances at the heart of MK Dons’ back line could pave the way for the 19-year-old defender to follow in the England international’s footsteps.
TEAMtalk reports Leeds, West Ham, West Brom, Newcastle, Burnley and Crystal Palace have all taken an interest in Sorinola.
The former Fulham youngster also has admirers in the Championship with Bournemouth, Middlesbrough and a Brentford side that has mastered the ‘sign low, sell high’ policy also interested.
“He has been excellent,” MK Dons boss Russell Martin, the former Norwich and Rangers defender, told the MK Citizen of his young talent.

“He’s played twice and got man of the match in both. There were no questions from me about his ability. He’s really young and there will be questions about the physicality of the league, but he has stepped up and done really well.”
Sorinola has been a regular in the MK Dons team this season, featuring in 11 of their 17 matches.
Crystal Palace and West Ham have made a habit of targeting exciting young talent from the Football League in recent months while the highly rated Joe Gelhardt joined Leeds in the summer from Wigan after catching the eye in the Championship.
