Leeds have until 11pm on Thursday to sign Swansea winger James.

TeamTalk have claimed that Leeds United and Swansea City are struggling to secure a compromise in talks for Daniel James, with the two sides failing to agree an upfront fee.
Leeds have been after the one-time Wales international for the majority of the January transfer window, with the 21-year-old starring for the Swans during the first half of the season at the Liberty Stadium.
Indeed, James has made himself a regular feature in Swansea’s starting eleven this season, scoring two goals and creating four more in just 18 league and cup encounters for Graham Potter’s side.
Leeds and Swansea have agreed that James will cost £10million, as per the report, but the stumbling block remains over how the Whites will pay that eight-figure fee – and in what instalments.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are willing to pay £4.5million up front and £5.5million in add-ons, as they look to close a deal before the end of the January transfer window. But Swansea want more up front.
The Welsh side want as much as £6.5million of the total £10million fee up front, but only £3.5million in add-ons. It remains to be seen if a compromise will be met before Thursday’s 11pm deadline. A £2million difference in the upfront fee, then.
