Sampdoria are anticipating bids for £15 million-rated winger Mikkel Damsgaard after Leeds United, Southampton and West Ham expressed an interest, as reported by the Daily Star.
One of this season’s breakthrough stars is unlikely to be sticking around for long.
Just 12 months after joining Samp in a £5.2 million deal from Nordsjaelland, Premier League clubs are already queuing up for Damsgaard; one of the fastest young forwards in European football.
Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest by multiple sources.
And The Star claim there has now been approaches from Leeds, Southampton and West Ham.
Sampdoria will understandably be loathe to lose one of their most exciting talents in years, although the prospect of a £10 million profit will provide some consolation in these financially uncertain times.

A shooting star of a winger who streaks across the pitch at breakneck speed, Damsgaard exploded onto the scene with a breath-taking assist against Inter Milan in January. Justifying those comparisons with Michael Laudrup amid a moment of match-changing magic.
Inter play-maker Christian Eriksen obviously likes what he sees from his fellow Dane.
“We talked together after the match,” Damsgaard told TV2 after being pictured in conversation with Eriksen. “He praised me for the situation around my assist.
“He is a really nice person and really sweet to talk to. It was just nice that he wanted to talk to me after the match.
“I was happy to get an assist. That was delicious. And it was probably not a completely ordinary assist.”
Tottenham fans will be hoping Eriksen put in a good move about Spurs too.
