Leeds United are reportedly pursuing Wolfsburg’s Elvis Rexhbecaj.

According to German newspaper Bild, Leeds United and Norwich City are going head-to-head for the signature of Wolfsburg midfielder Elvis Rexhbecaj.
The Whites have missed out on automatic promotion after enduring a dismal Easter period, and must now prepare for the playoffs after this weekend’s final game of the season.
Leeds may still be eyeing up potential signings for the summer regardless of their division, and one player is being linked with a surprise move to Elland Road.
Bild claim that Leeds want Wolfsburg ace Elvis Rexhbecaj, but must face newly-promoted Norwich City in the battle for his signature.
It’s claimed that both teams are prepared to splash around €8million (£7million) on Rexhbecaj, with Wolfsburg potentially tempted to sell given that his contract expires in just a year.
Rexhbecaj himself is believed to be focused on staying with Wolfsburg and impressing incoming manager Oliver Glasner, but Leeds and Norwich look set to do battle regardless.

The 21-year-old has come through the Wolfsburg ranks having arrived in 2010, and has made 22 Bundesliga appearances this season, notching one goal and one assist so far.
Technically proficient, Rexhbecaj can play in central midfield or at left back, and looks set for a bright future, which may well include playing for Kosovo on the international stage.
