According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United may now offer Sergio Romero to Aston Villa as part of a deal for Jack Grealish.
It’s claimed that, rather than let Dean Henderson leave on loan again, United may instead offload Romero.
Their current idea is to use him as a makeweight to land Grealish, who is currently valued at around £70milion by Villa.
Villa are seeking another goalkeeper to compete with Tom Heaton, and Romero could be that man if given guarantees over playing time.
Talks over a deal for Grealish are expected to accelerate in the coming weeks, and this could be bad news for a couple of Premier League sides.
ESPN report that Leeds United and Everton both want to sign Romero, having been impressed with his cup displays this season.

The Argentinian’s representatives are unhappy according to the Manchester Evening News, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer benched him for Sunday’s Europa League semi-final clash with Sevilla.
It may now be time for Romero to move on after five years at Old Trafford, but Leeds and Everton suddenly face a new battle for his signature given United’s new idea.
