Report: Leeds and Celtic still have hope of landing £15m target, club want him sold in January

Liverpool want to shift Leeds United and Celtic target Harry Wilson in January, the Daily Star report.

Wilson was linked with both Leeds and Celtic heavily over the summer, but a move did not materialise for the wide-man.

The Liverpool Echo suggested that Leeds had made contact with the Reds early on in the summer, while Celtic were linked in the Glasgow Evening Times on deadline day.

Ultimately neither of the two sides managed to get a deal over the line.

But they still have hope in the chase for the Liverpool wide-man, as Jurgen Klopp appears to see no future for him.

Liverpool are now hoping that they will be able to offload Wilson in January, when they have more time to negotiate a fee for him.

That is a blow for Wilson who may have been hoping to make an impact at Anfield this term.

Wilson did well out on loan at Bournemouth last season, but it seems that he is a long way down the pecking order at Liverpool currently.

Whether Leeds or Celtic will now come back for him in the new year remains to be seen.

Leeds did bring in Raphinha on deadline day, and that signing seems to have completed their attack, but Celtic could still be on the hunt for more offensive players.
