Leeds United and Brighton have both made £4.5 million offers for Jordan Lukaku with the Lazio left-back keen on a move to the Premier League, according to Rome-based publication Lazio News.
While Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Luis Alberto and 2019/20 golden boot winner Ciro Immobile have committed their long-term futures to Lazio, Simone Inzaghi’s side could still sell a valuable squad member or two.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that Lukaku, younger brother of Romelu, has his heart set on testing himself on English shores.
Lazio are apparently willing to sell for £5 million.
With that in mind, Leeds and Brighton may need to up their bids by just £500,000 to solve a problematic left-back spot.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds stormed to the Championship title last season despite the fact their only natural left-sided defender, Barry Douglas, missed much of the campaign through injury.

Gjanni Alioski and especially Stuart Dallas filled in impressively on the flank.
But with Leeds set to come up against the Liverpools, Manchesters and Chelseas of this world for the first time in 16 years, the Yorkshire giants will be looking to ensure round holes are filled by round pegs.
Lukaku, an attack-minded full-back who has eight caps for Belgium, would also give Brighton far more balance on the left than 6ft 7in, converted centre-half Dan Burn.
