Leeds United have struck a deal for the young Wigan Athletic attacker, Joe Gelhardt, according to The Sun.
The newspaper claims Wigan are selling Gelhart to Leeds for £1 million to pay wages at the club.
It adds that the 18-year-old is likely to accept the Whites’ terms next week.
Gelhardt is in line to become Leeds’ second summer signing, after Illan Meslier turned his loan move permanent.
The left-footed Liverpudlian has already appeared 21 times for Wigan’s first team, scoring once.
And he is said to have been chased by several clubs other than Leeds.

Wigan went into administration at the start of July, which led to the Latics being relegated from the Championship despite a good run of form.
That is expected to lead to a firesale at the DW Stadium, with Gelhardt looking like becoming the latest young talent to depart.
Whether Gelhardt would compete for a first team place at Leeds, or begin his Elland Road career either out on loan or in the Under-23s remains to be seen.
