Rangers defender Lee Wallace is reportedly set to reunite with his former Ibrox boss Mark Warburton.
According to The Scottish Sun, QPR boss Mark Warburton has swooped to sign Rangers left back Lee Wallace, reuniting in West London.
Wallace, 31, joined Rangers back in 2011, and earned the respect of the Ibrox faithful by sticking with the club even when sent down to the fourth division.
The defender stayed and helped Rangers return to the top flight, meaning he now has more than 250 appearances to his name since arriving at Ibrox.
However, Wallace’s contract is up this summer, and after making just three appearances under Steven Gerrard, the former Scotland international is moving on.
It now seems that he’ll reunite with his former Rangers boss Warburton, as The Scottish Sun claim that Wallace has agreed to sign for Championship side QPR.
Warburton and Wallace worked together at Rangers from 2015 to 2017, enjoying a promotion together, whilst Warburton even named Wallace club captain in 2015.
A reunion isn’t a great shock, especially with Jake Bidwell leaving Loftus Road, and Rangers fans will no doubt wish him well as he embarks on his first move to England.
