Both West Bromwich Albion and Derby County have been credited with interest in the Charlton Athletic manager this week.

The West Bromwich Albion and Derby County-linked boss, Lee Bowyer, held further talks with his current employers, Charlton Athletic, on Thursday, the South London Press reports.
It is claimed that West Brom chiefs are keen to speak with Bowyer about their managerial vacancy, while Derby are said to have conducted background checks on the 42-year-old in the event of Frank Lampard leaving for Chelsea.
But Bowyer, who is out of contract this summer, is back in discussions with Charlton after a post-play-off final victory holiday in Dubai, according to the SLP.
There is no clue as yet as to which way Bowyer will lean, however, with Charlton powerless to resist any approach that may arrive from West Brom, Derby or the like.

But it’s possible the hold-up on Charlton’s end, which it is suggested is due to a potential takeover at The Valley, could count against the London side.
Some Addicks fans are already fearing the worst after the links to West Brom and Derby emerged.
