Newcastle United are being linked with a move to bring Tamas Kadar back to the club.

According to Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy, Newcastle United scouts watched Lech Poznan draw 1-1 with Wisla Krakow on Sunday, with Tamas Kadar linked.
Darko Jevtic had given hosts Poznan the lead, before Pawel Brozek struck in the dying seconds to earn a point for Wisla.
Whilst few fans in England will have been paying too much attention to a clash between two of Poland’s biggest clubs, a Newcastle scout is believed to have watched the game.

Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy report that scouts from Ajax, Real Betis and Newcastle were all in attendance at the Municipal Stadium, with the January transfer window drawing ever closer.
The report suggests that Newcastle may have been watching Lech Poznan left back Tamas Kadar, who many Magpies fans will know having seen him spend four-and-a-half years at St. James’ Park.

Kadar joined Newcastle from Zalaegerszeg in January 2008 at the age of just 17, and he made just 18 appearances for the Magpies before being released in the summer of 2012.
Spells with Roda JC and Diosgyor followed, and he’s been starring for Lech Poznan since joining the Polish side in January 2015.
Capable of playing at left back or centre back, Kadar has been a versatile defender for Poznan, and he impressed for Hungary at the European Championships in France over the summer.

The 26-year-old appears to be back on Newcastle’s radar, and it’s claimed that Poznan would sell him for €2m (£1.8m) after a summer move to Lokomotiv Moscow fell through.
That certainly fits into Newcastle’s budget, and whilst Kadar has kicked on at Poznan, buying back a player they released over four years ago may not be seen as the smartest move from the Magpies, despite Kadar’s quality.
