West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho is being targeted by Lazio, according to Italian media.

Gazzetta Dello Sport have reported that Lazio have identified West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho as a potential replacement for Keita Balde Diao this month.
The 22-year-old hitman is linked with a move away from the Italian capital.

But are Lazio targeting his international team-mate as a replacement? According to Gazzetta, possibly.
The Italian outlet reports that the West Ham striker could be drafted in to replace Keita if he goes, while The Mirror (entry posted at 17:31 on August 23) claim that the Irons could pick up around £9 million if the deal goes ahead.

Sakho’s importance to the Hammers has been diminished following the arrival of Javier Hernandez, who scored twice in West Ham’s 3-2 defeat at Southampton this past weekend.
The 27-year-old only managed four Premier League games last season due to injury, but has a decent record of 16 goals in 50 top-flight appearances since being signed by Sam Allardyce in 2014.
