According to Tuttomercatoweb, Lazio hope to complete the signing of reported West Bromwich Albion target Vedat Muriqi by early next week.
The Fenerbahce striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
In recent days, the Kosovo international has not been training with the Turkish side.

West Brom have been accredited with a strong interest. Tavkim claimed in July how Baggies boss Slaven Bilic held talks with the player over a summer move.
But it now looks like West Brom will miss out on his signature to Lazio.
TMW claim the Serie A side hope to seal a £16 million deal by Monday, despite late interest from eternal city rivals Roma.
Muriqi has proven himself to be a prolific goal scorer in Turkey.
The 25-year-old netted 25 times for Caykur Rizespor in 2018-19, earning a move to Fenerbahce. He has since followed that up by again surpassing the 20-goal mark.
Bilic has experience working in Turkey with Besiktas between 2013-15.
Muriqi at the time was in Turkey’s second tier where he scored 21 goals in 57 games for Giresunspor, prompting a transfer to Genclerbirligi.
The 6ft 4inch striker may have been on Bilic’s radar from back then, with the Croatian boss now seeing him as a potential candidate to lead West Brom’s survival bid.
Muriqi, however, is seemingly bound for Lazio. With the Serie A club securing Champions League football, a move to the Italian capital would be hard to resist.
