According to Football.London this afternoon, Hugo Lloris will start for Tottenham Hotspur against Arsenal in the North London derby this evening.
Football.London had earlier reported that Lloris was a fitness doubt, and that summer signing Joe Hart was set to start for Tottenham against Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which led to worry among some Spurs fans, as covered by HITC Sport.
However, the same publication has now reported (1:50pm, December 6, 2020) that French goalkeeper Lloris will be in goal for the Premier League game.
Boost for Tottenham Hotspur
Lloris is the first-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham and is one of the best in the business.
The former Lyon star reportedly being fit for the North London derby is a huge boost to Tottenham’s chances of picking up all three points from the encounter.
True, Hart is a very experienced goalkeeper, but he has not played in the Premier League since Boxing Day in 2018.
The former Manchester City goalkeeper did not have the best of games against LASK in the Europa League on Thursday either.
Tottenham will fancy their chances of winning the North London derby against Arsenal this evening.
