The former Everton loanee has been advising the South Wales side, whose managerial situation is uncertain.

Former Everton loanee Landon Donovan could return to the Premier League as part of a proposed new Swansea City management team, according to a report in Monday’s Sun newspaper (page 50).
Donovan is currently advising the Swans’ American owners, whose manager Francesco Guidolin is the new favourite to be the next top flight boss to leave his post with bookmakers Sky Bet.

However, the former United States international could be in line for a bigger role, the report claims, despite only recently coming out of retirement to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The Sun reports that Swansea’s backers are keen to talk to Bob Bradley about succeeding Guidolin, with concerns over another reported target, Ryan Giggs, who has never before managed at senior level.

Bradley, who is the current head coach of French Ligue 2 side Le Havre, previously managed the USMNT, with Donovan one of the 58-year-old’s star players.
Donovan, 34, enjoyed separate spells at Goodison Park in 2010 and 2012 and remains highly thought of on the blue half of Merseyside.
