Barcelona could look to bring Jurgen Klopp in as their next manager if Joan Laporta wins the upcoming election at Camp Nou, according to Spanish outlet Okdiaro.
The Catalan club have had poor fortunes and management issues of late, being embarrassed in the Champions League last season, while they currently sit mid-table under the guidance of Ronald Koeman.
Laporta is reportedly a big fan of Klopp and he plans to put him forward as a potential option as Barcelona’s next manager, if he is successful in his bid to become the president of the La Liga giants.

It is no surprise to hear that figures at Camp Nou like Klopp. After all, he has been heralded as a ‘genius’ in the past and, after winning the Premier League and Champions League in the last two seasons, it is hard to disagree with that.
Of course, getting Klopp out of Anfield is a different matter entirely.
The German seems to absolutely love it at Liverpool and, with his contract running until 2024, it is hard to believe that he is going to ditch the Premier League champions.
However, if any club in the world are going to tempt Klopp away from Liverpool, it may be Barcelona.
Nobody needs reminding of the club’s rich history, and the chance to manage Lionel Messi would be an absolute dream for any football coach.
Klopp going to Barcelona does seem a little far-fetched at the moment, as there are too many variables in play to make that happen. But if Laporta does win the election, Liverpool fans may have something to worry about.
