According to Bild, RB Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi has agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund, despite the fact he’s been strongly linked with Liverpool.
However, despite this report, Liverpool’s hopes of signing Adeyemi aren’t dead yet.
What’s the story with Adeyemi?
Bild state that the youngster has agreed terms on a move to Dortmund, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a deal is done.
The attacker has reportedly agreed terms on a five-year deal, but Dortmund, as of yet, aren’t willing to match RB Salzburg’s €40m (£34m) asking price.
Indeed, the Bundesliga giants are apparently only willing to pay €35m (£30m) for the promising attacker, leaving the door ever so slightly ajar for Liverpool or any other interested party.
However, it must be noted that if a player has agreed personal terms with another club, a transfer is incredibly likely, and while Dortmund won’t cough up the cash right now, a £4m difference in asking price really isn’t much these days.

Coup
Regardless of where Adeyemi ends up, he could end up being something of a coup.
£34m for a player who claims he’s ‘like Kylian Mbappe’ is a great price, and at the age of 19, the teenager has so much room to continue to grow.
He’s netted 11 goals in 16 Austrian Bundesliga games this term, so he certainly seems to be a massive talent.
Dortmund seem to be leading this race, but with Salzburg’s asking price acting as a sticking point, Liverpool still have an outside chance of swooping in, but it seems as though that window of opportunity may close soon.
