Manchester City are believed to be close to signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Waker.
According to the London Evening Standard, Kyle Walker has asked Mauricio Pochettino to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Walker has been linked with a move to Manchester City in recent times, and although the defender has not submitted a formal transfer request, he is keen on a move away from White Hart Lane.

Walker has been left disappointed with Pochettino’s recent team selections, which have seen him left out of the FA Cup semi-final and the North London derby.
The England international has started just one of Tottenham’s last five matches – with Kieran Trippier favoured.

And Spurs are now reportedly open to offers for Walker, heading into the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are looking to receive £50 million for Walker, if they are to sell the right-back.
But City appear to be moving ever closer to completing a deal to bring the 26-year-old to the Etihad Stadium.
If Walker does leave Spurs this summer, it will bring to a close his eight years stay with the North London side.
