Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have set their sights on signing Kyle Lafferty, with Steven Gerrard keen on the striker.

Rangers have seen an offer of £200,000 rejected by Hearts for the striker, who Steven Gerrard is keen on snapping up.
However, Rangers are said to be willing to bide their time, as they look to bring Lafferty to Ibrox.
Lafferty has his heart set on a move to Rangers, and has held talks with Hearts over his future.

The 67-time Northern Ireland international did not hand in a transfer request, but it is understood that his preference is to join up with Gerrard’s Rangers’ side.
Whether Rangers will be able to get a deal over the line for the 30-year-old forward remains to be seen.
Rangers currently face having to pay £1 million for the striker, with Hearts wanting big money for the forward.
