Kurt Zouma has reportedly decided that he wants to return to Everton this summer.

According to a report from the Sunday People (21/7; page 54), Kurt Zouma is planning to tell Chelsea that he wants to join Everton this summer as he looks to secure a spot at Euro 2020.
Zouma went into this summer off the back of a superb loan spell at Goodison Park. The 24-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances for Marco Silva’s men and proved to be an outstanding signing for the Toffees.
Unsurprisingly, Everton appear to be keen to bring the centre-back back to Merseyside this summer. And it seems that Zouma also wants a deal to be done before the transfer window closes.
The Sunday People (21/7; page 54) reports that Zouma will tell his current club that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge and return to Everton for a second spell.

The report notes that getting into France’s squad for next summer’s tournament is a key factor behind his decision to want to leave Chelsea for their top flight rivals.
Big boost for Silva
The news that Zouma wants to return will be music to Everton’s ears. There is plenty of work for the Toffees to do, as it seems unlikely that Chelsea will be overly happy with his decision, but it is certainly a big boost to their transfer hopes.
Zouma formed a brilliant partnership with Michael Keane, and Silva is yet to land a replacement for the former Stoke loanee this summer. So it would provide a fantastic boost late on in the window if they could now get a deal across the line.
