Arsene Wenger is yet to sign a new Arsenal contract.
Despite calls for Arsene Wenger’s head, Arsenal’s majority shareholder Stan Kroenke plans to keep the manager in charge at the club.
The Telegraph report Kroenke is ‘desperate’ for Wenger to sign a contract extension, and has put a two-year deal on the table for the Frenchman to sign.

Wenger though has yet to do so, keen not to misjudge the mood of the fanbase, perhaps haunted by calls for him to leave the club.
These voices have grown over the past week with Arsenal suffering back to back defeats in the Premier League at home to Watford and away to leaders Chelsea.
Arsenal have slumped to a familiar fourth place and are 12 points behind the Blues, meaning it is improbable if not quite impossible that they will win the league this year for the first time since 2003/04.

After winning three league titles in his opening eight years at the club, Wenger has presided over a near barren decade, highlighted by two FA Cup wins which bought him further time in charge.
Arsenal are still in this year’s competition, but fans will not be placated by success in the same competition, with a lack of progress in the league since their last Wembley triumph, which was supposed to be a launching pad for further success.
