According to The Glasgow Evening Times, the representatives of Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer have asked the club for an acceptable asking price to leave.
It’s claimed that Ajer’s agents are now looking to engineer an exit from Parkhead before the end of the transfer window.
However, Celtic have not provided a fee to Ajer’s representatives, seemingly playing hardball with the Norwegian ace.
Lennon’s comments
These reports are very interesting given that Celtic boss Neil Lennon was apoplectic after the Bhoys lost 2-1 a home to Ferencvaros last night.
That was an embarrassing night for Celtic as they crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of the Hungarian side.
Lennon told Sky Sports that some players want to leave Celtic, and that they may now go because he only wants committed players at Parkhead.

Who could sign him?
The report notes that AC Milan, Sevilla, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are all interested in signing Ajer.
The Norwegian has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur by Sporten in March, whilst Everton are keen according to a May report from 90Min.
Ajer is tall, athletic and capable on the ball, meaning he will attract major interest – and it now remains to be seen whether Celtic can keep Ajer at Parkhead.
