Everton and Chelsea have been linked with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to the Telegraph, Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly prefers a move to Chelsea to joining Everton in the summer transfer window.
The report claims that both clubs are eyeing a deal for the talented defender this summer, but Koulibaly is said to be hopeful of Chelsea agreeing a deal with Napoli as he seeks a move to the Premier League.
Everton could be facing the prospect of losing England international John Stones this summer, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City named his likely destination in the report.

Stones was a regular feature for the Toffees last term, and losing him would leave newly-appointed boss Ronald Koeman with a rather large void to fill.
Koulibaly has impressed for Napoli over the past 12 months, going from a player who many considered to be somewhat of a liability to one of the standout defenders in Serie A.
Last term, he averaged an impressive 2.5 aerial duels won, 2.5 tackles, 2.5 interceptions and 3.6 effective clearances per league match as Napoli challenged for the European spots.

His consistent displays have since (reportedly) attracted the attention of both Chelsea and Everton, and his likely hefty price-tag may not put either off especially the latter under new wealthy owner Farhad Moshiri.
However, the Telegraph reports that his preference is linking up with Antonio Conte at Chelsea, although he still could be convinced of a move to Goodison Park if the London club opt to pull out of the race.
