Kolo Toure is set to reunite with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.

According to BBC Sport, free agent defender Kolo Toure is in Glasgow today in order to undergo a medical with Celtic, becoming Brendan Rodgers’ second signing in the process.
The Bhoys have snapped up striker Moussa Dembele from Fulham so far this summer, but improving options in the heart of defence had to be a priority for manager Rodgers.

With Dedryck Boyata and Jozo Simunovic endured difficult first seasons with the club due to form and fitness respectively, whilst question marks hang over the future of Efe Ambrose.
Landing a veteran centre back would be a smart move for Rodgers, and he appears to be doing just that by reuniting with one of his former Liverpool players.

BBC Sport report that Kolo Toure is undergoing a medical with the Bhoys today, and his deal should be completed by the end of the day.
The Ivorian, 35, won two Premier League titles with Arsenal and Manchester City, before joining up with Rodgers at Liverpool in 2013 on a free transfer.
Mostly used as cover at Anfield, Toure was a trusted member of Rodgers’ squad, but is now available for free having been allowed to leave by Rodgers’ replacement Jurgen Klopp.
Toure and Rodgers now look set to reunite at Celtic, with the Bhoys manager swooping to land a veteran centre back with international and Champions League experience on a free transfer.
If Toure passes his medical, he will be available to face Astana in the Champions League on Wednesday, becoming Celtic’s ‘wildcard’ addition to the squad after the registration deadline passed on Thursday night.
