Everton boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly looking to reunite with Morgan Schneiderlin.
Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin
According to The Mirror, Everton boss Ronald Koeman is willing to spend £20m on Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The Toffees swooped to appoint Koeman earlier this month, with the Dutchman heading to Goodison Park after two years in charge of Premier League rivals Southampton.

One of the key factors in Koeman’s decision to leave the Saints for Everton is that new investor Farhad Moshiri will back his manager with huge transfer funds, and some big-name signings are expected at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Now, The Mirror report that Koeman has made Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin a priority signing, and is willing to splash £20m on the French international.

Koeman and Schneiderlin worked together at Southampton during the 2014/15 season before the midfielder left for Old Trafford last summer – and it now appears that the Dutchman is keen to strike up a reunion on Merseyside.
The 26-year-old was in and out of the United side under Louis van Gaal last season, making 25 Premier League starts, but it remains to be seen what his role will be under new United boss Jose Mourinho.

It’s now claimed that, if Mourinho gives any indication that Schneiderlin could be sold, then Koeman will be keen to spend Moshiri’s money on a reunion with the Frenchman.
With Gareth Barry now 35, Koeman may want to bring in a long-term solution in midfield – and pairing Schneiderlin with James McCarthy could give the Toffees a strong midfield partnership, but it could all depend on Mourinho’s opinion of Schneiderlin.
