Everton boss Ronald Koeman reportedly wants to swap Ross Barkley for Tottenham ace Moussa Sissoko.
According to The Mirror, Everton boss Ronald Koeman remains keen on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko – and is ready to offer a straight swap for Ross Barkley.
Sissoko, 27, suffered relegation with Newcastle United last season after a disappointing campaign with the Magpies, but his performances for France at Euro 2016 earned him a stunning move to Tottenham.

As reported by Sky Sports, Tottenham landed Sissoko in a deal that will ultimately reach £30million, with Mauricio Pochettino fending off interest from Everton on deadline day back in August.
The report stated that Sissoko failed to respond to phone calls from Everton about a move to Goodison Park despite agreeing a deal with Newcastle, and as the deadline passed, he became a Tottenham player.

However, Sissoko has yet to really impress for Spurs; he has yet to score, and has notched just two assists in his 14 appearances, and drew criticism from manager Pochettino earlier this season, as he told BBC Sport that Spurs were expecting more from their big-money signing.
Intriguingly, The Mirror claim that Everton boss Koeman still wants Sissoko despite the extraordinary circumstances that led to him snubbing the Toffees, and wants to engineer a swap deal involving Tottenham target Ross Barkley.
The London Evening Standard claimed earlier this month that Tottenham want to lure 23-year-old midfielder Barkley to White Hart Lane, with Pochettino seemingly a big fan of the English ace.
Barkley has hit just two goals and two assists in the Premier League this season, and the report states that Toffees boss Koeman is now ready to give up on the Everton youth product in order to try and finally land Sissoko.
It would be a huge surprise to see Koeman go back for Sissoko after the drama in August, but he’s certainly a fan of the player, he’s struggling to get the best out of Barkley, and Tottenham appear to be keen on him, meaning a swap deal – as complicated as they can be – may not be out of all realms of possibility.
