Ronald Koeman reportedly wants to bring Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton.
According to The Mirror, Everton boss Ronald Koeman wants a double raid on Manchester United by targeting midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin as well as winger Memphis Depay.
The Toffees have made a bright start to life under Koeman, and sit seventh in the Premier League table, just six points off a Champions League place.

Koeman’s job has been aided by the summer signings of Ashley Williams, Idrissa Gueye and Yannick Bolasie, and with continued investment from major shareholder Farhad Moshiri, the Toffees are set to spend more on new signings.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, The Mirror report that Koeman not only wants to bring winger Memphis Depay to Goodison Park, but also wants his Manchester United team-mate Morgan Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin, 27, has barely featured under Jose Mourinho, making just three starts in all competitions and playing just six minutes of action in the Premier League.
Now, less than two years after he left Southampton for Old Trafford, Schneiderlin is facing up to the possibility of leaving United – and his former Saints boss Koeman is keen on a Goodison Park reunion.

The French midfielder has proven himself in the Premier League over the years, and he certainly excelled under Koeman’s tutelage at St. Mary’s Stadium, meaning a reunion could work out well for all parties, with the Everton boss allegedly confidence that he can revive Schneiderlin’s career.
Everton holding midfielder Gareth Barry is almost 36, and whilst he’s still performing well, Everton need to look to the future – and Schneiderlin could slot into Barry’s role perfectly should a January deal get done, whilst Everton will be looking for a midfielder in January given that Idrissa Gueye will be away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal in the early stages of 2017.
