Liverpool are said to be keen on signing Christian Pulisic from Chelsea, the Daily Mail report.
Pulisic is reported to be ‘unhappy’ at Stamford Bridge, after seeing his game time extremely limited under Thomas Tuchel.
And Liverpool are now one of a clutch of clubs who are considering snapping up the 22-year-old.
Liverpool’s interest should come as no surprise, as Pulisic is a player who he has already admitted to being a big admirer of.
Klopp told the Daily Mirror in 2017 that he thought Pulisic was ‘fantastic’ when he was still at Borussia Dortmund.
The £58 million American (BBC Sport) has since proven his worth in the Premier League, although persistent injuries have slowed his progress.
Pulisic was arguably Chelsea’s most dangerous attacking player towards the back end of last season, but has failed to hold down a place for a consistent run of games this time around.
If he was to move to Liverpool he could freshen up an attack which has faltered of late.
Pulisic would offer the Reds and speed and dribbling ability, and would give them further depth of options, as he is able to play right across the front-line.
