Liverpool are reportedly keen on Lille playmaker Sofiane Boufal.
Lille’s Sofiane Boufal takes on Marseille defender Paolo De Ceglie
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Liverpool have turned their attention to Lille playmaker Sofiane Boufal having become frustrated in their pursuit of Mario Gotze.
The Reds appear to be in the market for an attacking midfielder this summer, despite already having the likes of Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino in their ranks.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move to land Bayern Munich’s Gotze, having been on the fringes of their side over the past year.
Manager Jurgen Klopp worked with Gotze at Borussia Dortmund but seemingly can’t get a deal done, at least according to Foot Mercato.

They report that LIverpool are becoming frustrated with their pursuit of Gotze, and have now turned their attention to Lille star Sofiane Boufal instead.
Boufal, 22, hit 12 goals for Lille this past season, and the Moroccan international has earned rave reviews for his performances since signing from Angers in January 2015.

Now, it’s claimed that Boufal is on Liverpool’s radar for a big summer move to Anfield, and the Reds are apparently willing to offer around €20m (£15.65m) to land him.
A skillful dribbler with pace to get away from defenders, Boufal is comfortable out wide and as a central playmaker, offering a little more speed than Gotze does, but predominantly playing in and around the edge of the area – and a possible move for him may again spark rumours of a possible exit for the aforementioned Coutinho.
