Liverpool will not add both Timo Werner and Milot Rashica this summer, according to Oktob.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with both Werner and Rashica ahead of the transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp believed to be interested in both attackers.

But the latest reports suggest that Liverpool won’t be bringing in the pair of rapid attackers.

Instead it will be one or the other for Klopp, who will have to pick which Bundesliga player to target.

It is thought that Werner is Liverpool’s top target, but Rashica could be a solid back-up option for the Reds.

Werner has been heavily linked with a £50 million move (Daily Express) to Anfield for many months now, but the Reds are still yet to really progress negotiations with RB Leipzig.

Rashica, meanwhile, could be a cheaper option, as he has a £33 million release clause built into his contract with Werder Bremen, according to Sky Sports.

Who should Klopp go for?

Werner has outscored Rashica this term, but the Kosovan international is arguably the more creative player.

Both options could be appealing for Liverpool, but Werner looks particularly exciting.

Werner is a more complete player than Rashica, and he is certainly a more clinical finisher.

The rapid German international could really add to Liverpool’s goalscoring threat, and with him involved, Roberto Firmino’s place would be under real pressure.
