Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has apparently told FSG that he is fully committed to the project at Anfield after speculation over his future, according to the Sunday World.

Klopp has consistently batted aside rumours that he could leave Liverpool, after a sticky spell.

And it is claimed that he has now told FSG that he wants to remain at Liverpool, while he has also offered assurances that his side will get back on track next season.

Liverpool have faltered this term, but a mini-rebuild is expected this summer.

Klopp has reportedly been promised funds to invest, even if Liverpool do not sell a key player, as the board also seemingly want the team to improve.

The Reds’ task of getting back into title contention would be made considerably easier if they can claim a top four place this season.

That still seems a big challenge, given that Liverpool are stuck in eighth place currently.

However, results went in Klopp’s side’s favour at the weekend, and if they can beat Wolves later this evening, then Liverpool will cut the gap on the top four down to just five points.
