Tottenham Hotspur will bring back Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld against Brighton & Hove Albion.

According to the London Evening Standard, Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier are expected to return to Tottenham Hotspur’s line-up for their match this weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino controversially left Alderweireld and Trippier at home, while his side travelled to Italy in midweek.

The pair both had to watch on television, as Tottenham fell to a defeat at the San Siro.

But both Alderweireld and Trippier are now set to return to Pochettino’s side for their match against Brighton this weekend.

The news is likely to go down well with Spurs fans, with many baffled by Pochettino’s decision to leave them out in the Champions League.

Pochettino, himself, will be hoping that the time off can bring Alderweireld and Trippier back to their best.

Tottenham have lost their last three matches on the bounce and travel to Brighton in desperate need of picking up a victory.
